Our Background
Experience You Can Trust
Beyond Consulting was founded by Lani Dohrmann, a dedicated educator and consultant with years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and Cognitive Impairments across school, home, and community settings.
Having worked directly with individuals and families navigating the challenges of disability — from early diagnosis through adulthood — our founder recognized a critical need for personalized, in-home consulting that goes beyond what traditional school or agency services can offer.
Lani holds a Master’s degree in Special Education with a specialized focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is fully certified in General Education (K–8) and Special Education (Ages 0–26), with advanced endorsements in Autism, Cognitive Impairments, and Early Childhood Education. Throughout her 15 plus year classroom career, Lani has accumulated extensive teaching experiences within the special education sector, successfully supporting learners from early childhood through young adulthood.

We exist to bridge the gap between diagnosis and possibility. Too many families feel lost after receiving a diagnosis, unsure of where to turn or what support looks like. Too many individuals with disabilities are underestimated and underserved. Beyond Consulting was created to change that — one family, one individual, one breakthrough at a time.
